As part of the 38th Duisburg Akzente festival "Umbrüche" (Transformations), convinced that the decisions we make now, in our present, will shape the future in the long run, the artist duo Anja Schöne and Thorsten Töpp develop various perspectives on possible worlds thirty years from now. The consequences of turbo-capitalism, alienation, isolation, ecological destruction, and totalitarian arbitrariness are unfolded in surrealistic, yet poetic visions. In doing so, Schöne & Töpp make use of the unique atmospheric possibilities of the venue for a truly multimedia work. 

Actress and songwriter Jana Reiß, Chinese live painter Luan Xiaochen, the young girls from the recorder orchestra, exceptional saxophonist André Meisner, Max Strestik, who was already engaged at the Bochum Schauspielhaus as a student, multitalented Constantin Schädle, who can be experienced both in front of and behind the camera... Schöne & Töpp utilize the tremendous capabilities of their ensemble for a perspective-rich meditation on a possible future, humorous and hopeless, with a wink and seriousness, and with a faint glimmer of hope on the horizon...
